Fifth grade students at Cherokee trail Elementary had an exciting visit from Dr. Joel Boyd, professor of chemistry at Erskine, his students, and his wife Kerri, an art teacher.  Dr. Boyd talked to the students about green chemistry and protecting our environment. Students created works of art by exploding food coloring onto paper.
