Book Genre Tasting Party at JCCE

Mrs. Kimsey’s 4th grade classes participated in a Book Genre Tasting Party.  Students had been studying the different genre of fiction books.  As a culminating activity, they “tasted” a variety of fiction books to identify the genre and why it fits in that category. This fun activity is a great way to get students interested in reading a wide array of books.
