On Dec. 5, 2017, seventy-three fourth graders learned how to program a Minecraft simulation using computer coding.  Several students explained that this project has interested them in computer technology as a career.  Mrs. Jennifer Hines, fourth grade science teacher, organized this event and invited Due West Mayor Charles Angel to volunteer in assisting students.  Angel and his son are active in the Due West Robotics and Rocketry clubs.
