During the month of February, our Westwood students learned the importance of Kindness.  Through our character education lessons, the students learned that Kindness is showing others they are valuable by how you treat them.  Each homeroom teacher chooses one student who displays the character trait of Kindness during the month.  The following students were rewarded with being the character student of the month: Hunter Allen, Savannah Roton, Sara Able, Payton Whitner, Jamal Marshall, Vatia Sutton, Sidney Stone, Carson Wilson, Case Minor, Jacob Bowie, Elisabeth Kellar, Emily McLeod, Dawson Hughes, Katie Lindley, Tristin Fields, Ashley Evans, Truli Bown, Jaycie Wilson, Monterio Moss, and Jayden Martin.  “Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.” – by Ian MacLaren
