Abbeville’s Long Cane Primary Kindergartners are enjoying learning about fall and apples. The students have learned about the seasons of an apple tree. They learned about John Chapman who was known as “Johnny Appleseed”. He is famous for helping plant apple orchards. The students made Johnny Appleseed hats that looked like the cooking pot that Johnny Appleseed is said to have worn for a hat. Shown here are Lori Glace and Shelley Chrisley’s Kindergarten Class with their Johnny Appleseed hats.
